Since when have you been with EKPO, and what motivated you to apply with us?
I started at EKPO in November 2023. I was looking for a new challenge and came across EKPO. I found the topic of fuel cells immediately fascinating, so I decided to apply.
Just a few months after you started, you transitioned from Strategic Buyer to Project Buyer. How did that come about? Was the timing right for you?
Shortly after I joined, I noticed that a position as Project Buyer was advertised – a role that perfectly matched my profile, as I had previously worked as a project manager in the automotive sector. Not long after, my supervisor approached me directly and asked if I could see myself in this role. I had already thought that this position would be a great fit for me. That’s how I was able to move into a new role after just five months – one that offers even better long-term development opportunities. Looking back, the timing for this change was just right.

What makes your job exciting or special?
Through my work, I contribute to the development and production of climate-neutral fuel cells – another step closer to Emission ZERO! In addition, I help improve EKPO’s cost-performance, making the company more future-proof.

What do you particularly appreciate about EKPO as an employer??
There are many things, but I would especially highlight the flexible working hours, good social benefits, as well as open-leadership styles and flat hierarchies. And not to forget – our great cafeteria.
What do you like most about your work?
I really enjoy working with suppliers and negotiating with them. It motivates me to build a supplier network for purchased parts. I’m also excited to actively participate in product development and help bring new product ideas to life.
Which company values do you particularly appreciate at EKPO?
First and foremost, sustainability – we only have one Earth. Then honesty and reliability – these are the foundations of my actions. And finally, being results-oriented – I believe fair actions with a focus on cost-performance balance are very important.
